What We're Actually Running Here

Summer Performance
Texas Heat & Humidity — The Real Test
Houston summers are not a mild climate. We're talking 95 to 100 degrees with humidity that makes it feel like 110. If a unit is going to fail, it's going to fail here — and this thing didn't flinch.
I'd come inside on the worst days of July and August and the cabin was cool. Not kind of cool. Actually comfortable and refreshing. Running mostly on auto mode and letting the unit figure out what it needed, most days it pulled exclusively from the solar panels. 1. How Quiet It Actually Is

2. The AC Power Limiter Feature
You can actually cap how much grid or inverter power the unit is allowed to use. If you have a small inverter or you're managing tight system capacity, you can tell the unit: don't pull more than X watts from AC. That level of control wasn't something I expected, and it's been genuinely useful for managing the overall system load on my 6000XP.
3. The Solar Aircon App Is Actually Good
I say that as someone skeptical of manufacturer apps. It's clean, it shows you what power source you're pulling from in real time, lets you schedule, change modes, and check temperatures. I use it regularly. In fact, I lost one of my remotes and I've just been using the app ever since. Works great.
Line set note: The unit comes with about 16 feet of line set. That was plenty for my setup, but depending on how far your outdoor unit will be from the indoor mount, you may need to plan for additional tubing. Worth measuring before you order.
